      (Richard*), born about 1683, living 10 December 1759. Her grandmother,
      Hester (Cooke) Wright, was a daughter of Francis and Hester (Mahieu)
      Cooke, the Mayflower passengers. The will of Adam Wright, dated 9 April
      1723, gives:"To my daughter Mary Gifford wife of Jeremiah Giford" (Plymouth County Probate, 5:26). See George E. Bowman, "Notes on Adam Wright," May. Desc., 4:240
