Susan Hervey Wales Rollason

Susan Hervey Wales

Susan Hervey Wales was born on 2 Nov 1889 in Brookline, Norfolk, MA to George Rogers Wales and Mable Louise Hervey.  On 16 May 1916 she married Herbert Duncan Rollason in Beverly, Essex, MA.

Susan died at the age of 99 in St. Petersburg, Pinellas, FL on 26 June 1989.

Kimble Family

 

Frank and Clara Goddard Kimble
1892

Frank Kimble was born on 15 Jun 1870 in Crawford County, Ohio to Anna Marie Kimble and father unknown.

On 18 May 1892 Frank married Clara Goddard, daughter of Peter Goddard andNancy Sarah Wood.   Clara was born on 30 Sep 1872

Frank and Clara had six children: Ethel, Roy, Avery, Marcellus (Ted), Cora and Anna.

Frank Kimble died on 16 Jan 1948.  Clara died on 28 Feb 1954.  They are buried in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada, Ohio.

Goff Family

 

Lucius B Goff
1841-1920

Lucius (Lucas) Bento Goff was born on 4 Feb 1841 in Alexandria, Licking, Ohio to Vernon (Varnam) Goff and Diana Woods.  Lucius’ family moved to Madison and then Union counties in Ohio.

On 3 Feb 1862 Lucius married  Sarah Martin in Madison County, Ohio.    One son, Harry E Goff, was born.

Lucius served in the Civil War in 1864 and was discharged on  20 Aug 1864.

On 6 Feb 1875 Lucius married Martha Maria (Mattie) Minter, b. 9 Nov 1854 to Ralph Minter and Elizabeth Evans.  The Minters had 7 surviving children, Cora Estella, Lula Elma, Ina Belle, Nellie, Frank, Grace and Parl.

Mattie Minter died in Hardin County, Ohio on 28 Jul 1894.  Lucius died on 2 Feb 1920 in Lima, Allen, OH.  They are buried in Wolf Creek Cemetery in Hardin County, Ohio.

Stiles Family

 

Anginetta (Angie) Stiles

Anginetta “Angie” Stiles was born in Amherst, Cumberland, Nova Scotia, CA on 19 Sep 1882 to David M Stiles and Matilda Jane Estabrooks.

Angie and her sister, Martha Stiles, came to Maine in about 1903 to work at the Kineo Resort on Moosehead Lake in Maine.   Angie married Fred Frank Templeton on 9 Nov 1904 in Greenville, Piscataquis, Maine.

Angie died on 18 April 1927 in Greenvlle at the age of 44.

  • Both of her parents were descendants of New England Planters, a group of American colonists who left Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts to settle Nova Scotia and what is now eastern New Brunswick in 1761.
  • Angie was a descendant of Ann Pudeator, a victim of the Salem (MA) witch trials who was hanged on 22 Sep 1692.
